Dr.Abilash Anand (B.A.M.S, P.G.D.Y) will be your teacher for this course. Dr. Abilash received his Ayurvedic education from Vishnu Ayurveda College, Kerala, South India, and after graduating continued in the Indian guru-shishya tradition and studied personally under Ashtavaidya Alathiyoor Narayanan Nambi. The legendary Ashtavaidyas were historically renowned for their mastery of all eight specialties of Ayurvedic Medicine. They have made the Kerala Ayurvedic system a rich and complete healing science. Dr.Abilash has also trained with Dr.Radhakrishnan, expert in Kaya Chikista (Internal Medicine) and Dr.Sasikumar Nechiyil, expert in Rasa shastra (Medicinal alchemy). This traditional discipleship has given Dr.Abilash fine skills and expertise beyond his young years.

Vaidya Abilash has been with Maitreyi - The Vedic Village since 2009 and has gained immense respect amongst his patients from all over Europe, America and even neighboring Asian countries. His honest uncompromising approach to all clinical aspects of the science of Ayurveda, as well as his superb diagnostic skills has achieved lasting results and relief for many. He continues to broaden his experience for dealing with the western system of healing through exposure and travel to Ayurveda clinics in Europe and at the same time delves deeper into subtle research aspects with his peers in India.

A.N.Narayanan Nambi Ashtavaidyan A.N. Narayanan Nambi, MD (Ayu) is the successor of a great lineage of Ashtavaidyas or eight-physician families of Kerala. The Ashtavaidyan Alathiyoor Nambi family is said to have received blessings from the 'Aswani Devas'- the twin gods of Ayurveda from the Vedic times.

With both a traditional and institutional education, Dr. Nambi is loyal to the classical teachings of the science of Ayurveda. He is recognized both in India and Europe not only for his knowledge of Ayurveda but also for his sensitive grasp of the western mindset and related therapeutic needs. He is also actively involved in Ayurvedic education in Europe and Middle-East for the past many years. His teachings and articles have received much acclaim in both India and the West.

The Dhanwantri Ayurveda unit at Maitreyi The Vedic Village which serves many patients from Europe, America and Asia functions under his guidance and authority. All medications used herein are manufactured and supplied by the Astavaidya's production units based in Thrissur, Kerala.

Dr.Sasikumar Nechiyil Dr.Sasikumar Nechiyil is an experienced Ayurvedic physician and hails from a renowned traditional Ayurveda family of Kerala.

His family is deeply established in the subtle art of 'Rasayana' medicines and is well known for the last five generations for their abilities, knowledge base and long experience in 'Rasasastra' (Ayurveda medical alchemy). They have been repeatedly felicitated and even today hold a special place for their diligent methodology and approach to this very important Rasayana aspect of Ayurveda. This system encompasses a wide range of possibilities for treating even chronic ailments by this refined technique of preparing highly effective medications.

Vaidya Sasikumar completed his BAMS from Kottakal Ayurveda College and MD from Jamnagar Ayurveda College in Gujarat. During his years as an apprentice he also obtained valuable expertise in 'Visha Chikitsa'(Toxicology), Siddha medicines and 'Kalari Marma' treatments.

He has a close associations and contributed to furthering Ayurveda even in Japan and has published an important text on this science in that country. He is today recognized as one of the authentic Vaidyas in Kerala who look to this great science as a sadhana, a search for truth and develop it with an immensely dedicated approach and commitment.
